MY STORY

I am 67-years-old

I have lived in beautiful Vancouver British Columbia Canada  all my life.  Since I was 19 years old vitamins have been in my diet. I  have read a lot of books on vitamins  and have personally noticed a benefit in my health from taking them.

I have not changed too much in weight since high school and I am in pretty good physical shape 6 feet tall 185 pounds approx. and i often get people thinking I am 40 to 45 years old.

Why I want to help people

I have seen and read a lot about what vitamins can do to increase your health so i want to help people better understand exactly how vitamins work. I want to take the guess work out of knowing what vitamins should I take for whatever is ailing you.

A lot of people I talk to today still don”t know that much about vitamins. Back in 1969 when I started to take vitamins it was just take a multi vitamin, that’s all you need. It’s a lot more complicated than that now and there are always more discoveries and knowledge about vitamins.

So on my website I want to help you learn all about what to take and what not to take into your beautiful human body so that you can be strong and healthy well into your old age. So if you know nothing about vitamins and want to know more about them this is going to be an exciting journey !

The goal of my site

I started this website because I wanted to give people more unbiased information on vitamins and I will also talk about herbs and diets and exercises that can help you hopefully to live a longer and healthier life.

As i said before I have been taking vitamins since I was 19 years old and I know what vitamins work for me and maybe with the info on this website you can gain some insight on what works for you.

At 67, I feel pretty good for my age, of course everybody when we get older we start to have aches and pains, myself included but what if you could minimize the pain or get rid of it altogether without an operation or drugs just some simple vitamins that you maybe lacking or  even a herb.

As time goes I will be discussing many types of remedies with vitamins or herbs that will benefit your heart, high blood pressure, hair loss, fungus etc. All of these by simple vitamins or herbs.

Please consult you doctor before trying or attempting to take any vitamins or herbs etc.as they may conflict with any medications or drugs you may be taking etc.

However, everyone should try to have a balanced diet, whichever diet your on, and I have heard of many and tried a few. Having a balanced diet and exercise and proper sleep like about 8 hours is always a good recommendation

Not everyone is blessed with natural good health from birth. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger was a tall slim man, he had to lift weights to get his physic.

So most people either need to lose weight or gain weight and muscle mass. That’s why we are lucky to have knowledge of vitamins which is a very large industry now. There are protein supplements made with whey or soy or vegan so many products out there it can be confusing.

Through life, we subject our body’s to all sorts of degrading drinking ,smoking. over eating, drugs etc. I have always said we seem to spend the first 30 or 40 years of our life trying to kill ourselves and the next 20 to 30 years if we are lucky trying to heal ourselves or rejuvenate our body’s.

Vitamins can help because when we degrade our body’s we lose vitamins or we don’t eat enough healthy foods. Some vitamins are water based and need to be replaced daily like B and C. If you don’t replace vitamin C or get enough of it from food you can get scurvy where you teeth fall out, to only mention a few symptoms. This is why the British Navy got the nickname limey because they would have barrels of limes on board there ships and sailors would eat a lime a day. That is the power of vitamins.

The healthier you body is the less likely you are to be sick. Years ago my friends use to call me a vitamin nut because I ate a lot of vitamins but I very rarely get a cold or get sick so something must be working. At my age I have already seen some relatives and friends die and one thing they all had in common they abused their body’s either with smoking, drinking, or sugary pastry’s or over eating or eating the wrong food for your body, everyone is a little different. you have to know what foods are good for your body. All the vitamins in the world won’t help you if you are eating the wrong food for your body.

People eat too much food in the western world and I remember seeing an article about food and it said  the word death is mostly eat.

As we learn more about vitamins perhaps one day there will be a super vitamin that will keep us healthy with strong bones, eyesight, hair etc. It will be interesting to see how far we can go ? I read an article in a newspaper written 30 years ago by a doctor, he said the human body the way it is designed should last 150 years but we subject our body’s to so much abuse it is no wonder we don’t live a long and healthy life.

Quite a few years ago a young astronaut had a heart attack while jogging he was in his early 30’s. He survived luckily only to find his body was so depleted in B vitamins which are good for you heart and many other vitamins were lacking. It was a mystery how could this happen a healthy young man in good health who had just come back from a long space mission.

That was the answer, apparently they had found a new phenomenon, minute particles in outer space traveling at very high speed were going right thru the space ship and the astronauts. Just like life, things are going right thru us and destroying our body’s but the astronauts were able to overcome this by putting a special coating on their spaceships thereby deflecting these sub atomic particles.

In the coming months I hope to give you more insight in deflecting our sub atomic particles thereby giving you a healthier and longer life, thank you.
